i am sick. v sick. i hate de feelin of being sick.

there are a thousand and one things i NEED to do. some i am more than happy to do it. some i am too chicken shit to do it. some i really drag doin it esp when i know its consequences. why do all these stuff have to come at de same time??

and de worst thing about being sick - i am constipated. thanks to good old western medicine. i am stuck. all i can do is fart. pooooooo ...

oink is back in business!

after a super duper long hiatus, oink is finally back!! w brand new loots!! and of course, new business direction too.

actually de direction is pretty simple and idiot-proof. i am not goin to flood de store w tons of things so that people can choose. think haute couture. hahahaha. no lah. i am jus doing what i can w my stubbies and within de time i have.

in addition, i am focusing on working on more vintage pieces that i love. add a twist to classic design.

my first two pieces are out and they are stud earrings!! which i have not done before.

BTW i love de packaging that i did. i am pretty proud of myself. hahahhahaa. everything you see here is recycleable and reusable. woohoo!! hug -a-tree now!!

oink is comin back!!

yup your eyes are not playing tricks on you. oink is coming back!!

i have jus de-listed my old stuff. doin abit of housekeeping.

i love oink. however its been hard working on oink. i wanna do so much yet there is only so much time to spare. i also chose to launch oink when i was busiest at work. i managed. thanks to friends who gave me advice, do up free stuff for me and so on.

amongst de chaos, i think i kinda of lost it. i really want to do alot. as much as i can. abit too much for me to handle. its hard to admit, i lost it.

after my personal crisis, i know i need to slow down. i need to re-think my thoughts. there is only one mandy. only 24 hours in a day. i only have one brain and two hands. i have to recognise that. i also have duties to fulfill. as an employee ... a daughter, a grand-daughter, an aunty, a friend, a yogini and a baker. so if i hear one more friggin person sayin settin an online business is easy ... GO TO HELL. hahahahha.

anyhow i am back. back w more vintage loots. de anticipated studs. hahahaha. tons of vintage plastic loots (must check out de cowboy boots).

w de new loots, another thing i worried is pricing. i have long debates w friends. as much as i wanna make tons of $$, i also dun want to charge prices that people cun afford. yet at the same time, i mus show some sympathy to my stubby fingers and crabby brain. de effort to look for de loots. trying to make everythin recyclable and reusable.

ohhhh did i mentioned i got a new work studio?? its actually my grandma room. since she moved to my bro place, de room is vacant. with much reluctance (in my heart, i still hopin she will be back in this house), i decided to convert her room to my studio (i dun think i wanna work on my bed anymore). my mama was amused by it. dun ask me why. its still work in progress. once i cleared de old stuff, i would be able to move my supplies to de cupboard.

back from taiwan

yo all. i am back!! taiwan was good. it was better than i expected. lotsa of walking and eating and shopping. i bought four pairs of shoes. two of them are keds which designs i absolutely love. if you have de time, check out my pics on flickr.

i have been really slackin w de whole blog thing. i will try to upload some of de superoverdue pic soon. really overdue. hahahhaha.

i am also workin on new creations for oink. am also starting a new adventure too. more to tell later.

live earth concert is officially goin now. as i type, i am watching it. i am glad sydney started first. i miss de australia acts - paul kelly (lovin this dude), eskimo joe, crowded house and so on. errr but i hope john farhnam dun go on.
