despite not updating de blog, i did add some new stuff in both stores - oink and oink ;p do check them out ... and i promise i will update more "interesting" stuff soon *fingers crossed*

yo all i will be away for work (my day job) from 21 sep to 24 sep. i will be in de land of orangutans! woohoooo.

notice something new on de left hand side of de blog?? i have expanded (fine i am still stuffed from last nite durian feast) to dawanda.

i have been apprehensive abt de expansion. you know de uploading, double work and so on. especially now i have oink supply.

nope i have not. just that my brain can only focus on so many things at a time. now my yoga practice has taken up quite a bit of my time. and goin to do so till end of the year. i have fallen in love w my practice again. de challenge is back. dun i jus love a challenge?? *roll eyes*

talking about challenges. H.S.B.C. is making a comeback. we are goin for de heritage race again!! this year tee is in a much flattering color - PINK!!! hahahhaa. lets jus hope we complete de race.

another (teeny weany) store update

finally i am off to melbourne tomorrow. woohhooo ... i cun wait to roll around st kilda beach. eat all de wonderful treats at acland. shop along chapel and swanston street. ahhhhhh ...

during de easter weekend, i did a teeny weany update of de store. you can continue to shop but i will only be able to ship it on 5 apr (de store is closed from 27 mar to 4 apr).

that's all i want to say!! i cun wait to get to de airport!!

weird conversations

apparently i have turned abnormal. de truth is i dun believe in normality. yet i have to agree that i have not been v "myself" lately. maybe i am exhausted from work. from de decisions i have to make. de stress that i have to face ... inclusive de ones that i create.

anyhow i will be off to melbourne in 2 weeks time ...(ST KILDA HERE I COME!!!). i will try my v best to update de store before i run (though you have to wait 1 week for shipping ... duh).

in de meantime, i need to do some net stalking. muahahahhaa

stubby is sick

since friday, i was sufferin a v bad headache. and after that i started shiverin and feelin hot inside. thanks to mindful breathing (and paracetamol), i finally broke into sweat. however i still feel abit groggy. i can only manage the below ...

- took "passport" pictures of edward. even though i am sick, i need to amuse myself ;p

- re-list 2 items on etsy - here and here.

- tempted to kill my neighbours - they woke me up w their noisy chatter at 2am.

- made a nice cheesy turkey sandwich for dinner.

sunburnt oink

i am totally roasted. spent almost 3 hours under de sun w zero sunblock. moi is officially a walking lobster. itchyyyyy.

some random updates:

- ohhh de reason why i am roasted - moi went to singapore airshow courtesy of dawn (aka yuan yuan). she brought me and boone in, and parked us at de gallery where we got a great view of everything. my highlight?? sayin hi to mrs ang!! hehhehehee ;p

- singapore won de bid to host de inaugural youth olympics.

- de store is still being updated.

- almost forgot cny. it jus zoomed past me. lotsa activities. even managed a trip to lynn house for a quick reunion. for photos, please go to here.

- celebrated chin's birthday at giraffe. de place is great. de food is alrite. and we celebrate chin w some bling bling ;p

- while planning for my melbourne trip, i discovered a note written by kelly. this note was written 8 years ago - it listed things to do, food to eat. memories!!!!

- BTW we sold our LAST package!! woohoo!!!!

got to rest now and nurse my sunburnt ... no more showing off my flabby arms ... hehehehe ;p

oink is ONE year old

geez i almost forgot that oink is ONE year old today!!! happy birthday!!! hehehhehe. you must be thinkin i am out celebrating. nope. moi is now at work, typing away. taking a breather to write this entry *shake head*.

oink is slowly updatin

yup you are not seein things. de store is now slowly updated. i have a couple of new things which i absolutely love (on de other hand if i dun love them, i wun sell them).

i have also got my groove back in writing personalised descriptions for some of de items. ohhhh did i mentioned that i have new packaging too?? hehehehe. i am still tryin my best to be environmentally friendly. most of de materials are recyclable and reusable.

my first piece of de year

i fall in love w de blue coral when i saw them in de supply store. they are also friggin expensive too!! i wanted to put this piece at etsy but i decide to keep it for myself. will make another piece real soon. muahhahahaha.

so not inspired

this is friggin no good. i am not motivated nor inspired w my xmas gifts for de gang. i mean i know what i wanna give. but execution is another story. de colors, de fonts ... de motif ... sigh. i need to get things done by THIS WEEK!!!!!

de shop will be slowly updated once i can take some decent pics (de weather is not helping). and its obvious me not really care abt xmas buyer. muahhahahahah. the thing is i am not v happy w my photos. i am slowly trying to figure my lighting and composition. arghhhh. i need santa elves!!!!!

p/s: on a happier note, i "met" a new friend - betti - via flickr. she is actually a friend of lynda. she is really nice and sweeeeeet. hi babe!!! *wave*

giving back

an oink production together w forestprints (aka littleoddforest) created three beautiful packages of handmade goodies that are made w love (and sweat and blood too. muahhahaa).

the sales of these packages will benefit a little girl from bangladesh (we all know what happened to them recently), under the world vision program.

to be honest, lynda was havin a hard time on de sponsorship (she spent two hours discussing w eloise). everyone is just so cham. i decided that we choose somewhere near (we might visit her) and lynda suggested we sponsor a girl (patriarchy structure).

since mon, lynda has placed the three packages on her site (thanks babe ... for de pictures, de upload, de sending, and packing ....). and i happy to announce that two of de packages are SOLD!! we are now left w this!

one of de buyers/sponsors is fellow crafter gretchen. she wrote a wonderful piece on her blog. thanks babe for de love. you made all of us v v happy people. muahahhaha).

some delisting

did my usual qc on my stuff, sad to say, some of de items that i have listed on etsy got to be delisted.

all de studded earrings (leaf, flower and adam apple) are delisted from etsy.

this made me doubt that i will ever make stud earrings again. no fear. i am transforming all these to something else. so keep a lookout!
