sunburnt oink

i am totally roasted. spent almost 3 hours under de sun w zero sunblock. moi is officially a walking lobster. itchyyyyy.

some random updates:

- ohhh de reason why i am roasted - moi went to singapore airshow courtesy of dawn (aka yuan yuan). she brought me and boone in, and parked us at de gallery where we got a great view of everything. my highlight?? sayin hi to mrs ang!! hehhehehee ;p

- singapore won de bid to host de inaugural youth olympics.

- de store is still being updated.

- almost forgot cny. it jus zoomed past me. lotsa activities. even managed a trip to lynn house for a quick reunion. for photos, please go to here.

- celebrated chin's birthday at giraffe. de place is great. de food is alrite. and we celebrate chin w some bling bling ;p

- while planning for my melbourne trip, i discovered a note written by kelly. this note was written 8 years ago - it listed things to do, food to eat. memories!!!!

- BTW we sold our LAST package!! woohoo!!!!

got to rest now and nurse my sunburnt ... no more showing off my flabby arms ... hehehehe ;p

i have finally booked a holiday!! destination - melbourne!! i havent been there since uni times. so i am super duper lookin forward to re-visit this city.

de whole bookin thing for this holiday is rather traumatising for me. a certain airline really pissed me off. in de end, i still went ahead w them coz they are de only decent priced airline. moi cannot withstand an 8 hours journey on budget nor can i afford SQ flight. despite these, i am definitely looking forward to de hotel that i intend to stay. its frigin near de botanic gardens. woohoo!!

geez i almost forgot that oink is ONE year old today!!! happy birthday!!! hehehhehe. you must be thinkin i am out celebrating. nope. moi is now at work, typing away. taking a breather to write this entry *shake head*.

oink is slowly updatin

yup you are not seein things. de store is now slowly updated. i have a couple of new things which i absolutely love (on de other hand if i dun love them, i wun sell them).

i have also got my groove back in writing personalised descriptions for some of de items. ohhhh did i mentioned that i have new packaging too?? hehehehe. i am still tryin my best to be environmentally friendly. most of de materials are recyclable and reusable.

aggy wee is back home!!

some of you realised that i have gone MIA for de past few days. my best fren is in town!! she is back for cny and extraction of wisdom teeth (hehehheh).

we eat, chat, gossip ... critic ... reminiscing de old days (13 years of friendship). aggy is like a friggin tourist. she went oooh and ahhhs over de development of holland v, orchard and city hall. and de worst thing ... she pronounced lychee as lee-chee. AHHHHHHHHHhhh. unforgivable.

i did de typical tourist thing w her. brought her to crystal jade and lei gardens for lotsa chinese food. and this "hip" dessert bar for expensive sweet (fine. i am de one who wants to try. i jus drag her along). not forgetting a trip to de museum (my second trip. v impressed) and haji lane.

she will be back to chicago this sun (sob sob). hope i wun cry too hard then.
