i crave so i bake

i have no idea what got into me ... i was friggin cravin for chocolate chips cookies! i blame her. and probably been watchin too much tv - everyday food to be exact (you know how much i adore martha!). and of course, i was dyin to use a plate that i bought recently.

seriously. i dun really crave for cookies. cakes yes. cookies not much. thank god i have a favorite recipe that i adore. thanks martha.

it was good to be bakin again. especially usin tat nifty trick i learn from everyday food (scooper rocks!). my cookies turned out round and almost evenly shaped. and one thing i love about fresh bake - de innard is gorgeous - melted chocolate, crispy crust. droooool.

ehhhh i am goin to grab one cookie now ...

an oink supply

hey all guess what?? i started a second store!!! i know its crazy isnt it?? i cun even friggin cope w oink and i open a friggin supply store??!!

hehehheehe. its not that tough. to be honest. i accumulated quite abit of treasures from my jewellery making. some of them i bought them on impulse. while some are given to me by frens. and some i dun know what to do w them. so de solution? set up a supply store and share w all!

i mostly will sell beads, brass metal charms and some vintage wares. all items are handpicked by moi. all will still comes w alittle story/quotes. hehehhehe!

its because i am startin to blog here again :)

so i am abit late w this post ...

and its for a good reason. i slept at 9pm last night!!! muahhahahahaa. and woke up at midnight. had some juice and a chocolate biscuit and continue to zzzz. yup life as an oink. muahahahhaah.

- de feelin of a headless pig finally sunk in. its no fun wout a boss. i know its incredible i made tat statement. but i really miss my boss.

- finally went to ikea tampines. its HUGE. abit too big for me to handle. i still heart alexander branch.

- ohhh while on de way back, witnessed a freak accident where a car skidded and banged into a tree. taxi uncle continued to tell me ghost stories about that road. woooooo. but i am totally not freak by it and will continue to travel by tat road. heheheheh.

- on thu, met my good old zhu mei for dinner. we climbed our way to dempsey and settled at jones de grocer. nice place. lotsa wonderful delights. dinner was decent. nothing to scream about. but de ambience is definitely fantastic.

- we end off our zhu nite w ben and jerry ice cream. dun exactly like de decor but love love de ice cream (esp w this horrible weather).

- and come fri, i met up w boone to pass her de tea from melbourne. tat rude child was busy smsin de whole nite. tsk tsk. thank god for a wonderful meal at jin wee and the cheesecake shop.

- i amazed myself by waking up for a sat morning yoga class. and managed to complete my shopping for betti in lightning speed. nothing made me happier than the better toy store and daiso!!

- sunday yoga was spent at botanic garden. it was a complete end to my meditation class. actually not de end ... rather de beginning. de beginning of many wonderful friendships, support and love. i really heart my fellow yogis and yoginis.

ohhh did i mention i finally go to terminal3?? wanted to go there just to eat popeyes. end up touring de place too. gosh its like a friggin shoppin mall. definitely will go back there to shoot some shots. hehehhehee.

as some of you know, i ADORE cds. i love goin to music stores, immerse myself w de tons of cds on display and bring a couple of them home. and of couse the most important thing is its LEGAL. moi has friends who are musicians and composers. i know they go through hell to create that perfect tune.

yet at the same time, i want to do de environment right. especially when these days i have been blasting the a/c like mad. i wanna do something right in return. so after weeks of contemplating, i decided to buy music online. YES ONLINE. btw it takes me alot of courage to do that.

i think its de right thing (note de number of times i used the word "right"). i mean when i buy a cd, i dun exactly love every songs in the disc. most probably i keep playing that 2-3 songs. and w ipod, once i got the songs in my bb, i would chuck de cd aside and not touch them again (unless someone wanna borrow it). thus it becomes a sensible choice to download music online.

NOW here comes de i-wanna-kill-de-pple-who-sell-music-online part. one of de obvious places where i could purchase music will be itunes. ohhh silly me, totally forgot that itunes dun cater to people in asia (except japan). FINE.

then i went to good old amazon. failed. i know its de whole copyrights thing. but why cun they go get an extended copyright??!!

anyway i decided to try out some singapore sites. example - soundbuzz. i tot i hit de jackpot. yeah i can download music. ohhh wait. de files are in WMA format. who de fuck use WMA format to listen to music?? who who who??!! and of course WMA cannot be coverted to mp3 as its right protected. SERIOUSLY who listen to WMA format music?? WHOOOOOOoo!!!! to add to my anger, most LEGAL music sites only provides WMA music (i havent found de "some" yet). come on people, tell me how much bill gates pay you guys?? you shld know by now he is jus doin this to piss steve job. come on, give us a break here.

i was so pissed off that i almost joined de dark side. i asked couple of friends for the urls. all popping up like rabbits. i tried. but i failed. i jus cun bring myself to download illegal stuff. I JUS CUN. sigh.

so its another week again

gosh time really can fly huh ... hehhehehee. its another week. and a quarter of de year is GONE. geeeez. really need to control de time thing better.

- i started my new job. i am really blessed to work in a place where i already know the people especially my boss. i know its not an easy road ahead. and i know i can do it.

- went back to old office on wed to celebrate pm last day at work. was really happy for him. yet at the same time i can see he is still holding on to de past. let it go bro.

- pm and gang got extra ticket for iron man so i went along to watch it. its not too bad. i am impressed w robert downey jr. really impressed.

- thu was a public holiday and i actually went shoppin. yup. i rarely go shoppin on a holiday as moi hates crowd. i survived!!

- since no one is goin in de office, i managed to get myself to work from home. i thank god that my boss allowed me to do that. the beauty of workin for an american co!

- i also survived my first concall. its a boliao call. but glad i got de whole call in and chat w pple thing out of de way.

- ohhh did i mention i started running again??!! yup i did. i only ran 1km. but i ran!!

- on sat, went to buy a running cap. in de end, i bought an addidas original cap too. my bag was filled w 3 caps of diff brands (nike, addidas and pumas). hahahahah.

- i also finally took some decent shots of de farewell gift that T gave me. and also de little red riding hood that i bought myself.

- betti loves de little red riding hood and my new found treasures. and i decided to offer her some. i cannot resist giving stuff to this wonderful pal.

- went for sunday meditation class. its emotionally tough. yet i lovin it every moments. i applaud everyone in de class. it takes courage for them to be in de class. i know. i always running away from it. guess someone up there decide to put a stop to it :)

hope you all enjoy that last bit of sunday. all i know is i have daiso, better toy store and woodwould waitin for me ... hehehhehhee
